Anyone with a brain could see that the Great Deportation plans of the Madman would eventually unfairly target some people. But that doesn’t seem to matter to the MAGA followers. This scheme is simple: keep this nation as European as possible and erase people of color.

Expel them all of them
Ensure we are safe from them
Keep our daughters and wives safe
From them

“Tren de Aragua (TdA) is a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization with thousands of members, many of whom have unlawfully infiltrated the United States and are conducting irregular warfare and undertaking hostile actions against the United States.” -BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. A PROCLAMATION March 15, 2025

The Madman said it as plainly as day. “We will begin the largest deportation operation in the history of our country because we have no choice.” At rally after rally, the Madman pushed for the forced relocation of millions of “illegal” immigrants. Of course, I’m never sure who he means (just kidding, I know exactly who he means), how he and his stooges plan to carry out this mass deportation, or, most importantly, how they will decide who needs to be deported. Just curious about the details.

As predicted, all our worst fears have come true. Thanks to social media, we know about the mass raids by armed agents on hotels, restaurants, packing plants, and Home Depot parking lots, schools, and courthouses (courthouses, damn it. Do they have no shame?) where everyone will be forced to show their birth certificates, passports (I’ve got my passport card ready), residency cards, or some secret document proving they are legal. (You know, thousands, maybe millions, of people are here legally on temporary status).

The U.S. Deportation Industrial Complex: Arrests and Detention by the Numbers

“The Trump administration is building a multi-billion dollar deportation industrial complex to meet its reported goal of arresting 3,000 immigrants a day—more than one million immigrants a year. Despite the administration’s claims that it is targeting “the worst of the worst,”  Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data show the great majority of immigrants in detention—more than 70 percent in early September—have no criminal record. In its haste to hit the historically high target, ICE is even arresting and locking up U.S. citizens.”

ICE’s detainee population reaches 66,000, a new record high, statistics show

“…all natives, citizens, denizens, or subjects of the hostile nation or government, being of the age of fourteen years and upward, who shall be within the United States and not actually naturalized, shall be liable to be apprehended, restrained, secured, and removed as alien enemies.” R.S. §4067 derived from act July 6, 1798, ch. 66, §1, 1 Stat. 577.

What could possibly go wrong? Let’s first focus on the last time there was a grand deportation plan.

“From the late 1920s to the late 1930s, men, women, and children, immigrant and U.S.- born, citizen and noncitizen, longtime residents and temporary workers all became the targets of a massive campaign of forced relocation, based solely on their perceived status as “Mexican.” They were rounded up in parks, at work sites, and in hospitals, betrayed by local relief agencies who reported anyone with a “Mexican sounding” name to what was then called the sounding” name to what was then called the Immigration Service, tricked and terrorized into “voluntary” deportation by municipal and state officials, and forcibly deported in trains and buses, to a country some hadn’t lived in for decades and others never at all.” Deportations on Trial: Mexican Americans During the Great Depression

The United States Supreme Court has authorized this administration to intentionally target people of color to meet deportation quotas. In earlier large-scale deportation campaigns, Border agents would enter Mexican American neighborhoods, demand ID from “Mexican-looking” citizens on the street, break into private homes in the middle of the night, and raid Mexican businesses. There were no hearings or oversight. Some reports say that as many as one million people, many of whom were here legally, were seized and deported.

A significant majority of those in detention (over 71%) have no criminal record, while many others have only minor offenses.”

Caught on camera: ICE tactics intensify despite disturbing videos surfacing across the U.S.

As they have already shown, ICE and their supporters have gone to great lengths to ensure their seizure of undocumented individuals is not without controversy. For example, confirming that no workplace, school, housing project, or single-family home in East L.A., Miami, or the Bronx is safe from door knocks to verify legal residency and allegiance to the United States.

A tiny problem might arise when you find people from European and Eastern European countries, but there’s probably not enough to worry about them.

There is the small matter of what you do when you find people suspected of being here “illegally” or haven’t proven to your satisfaction that they are here “legally.” Do you send them to the local jail, a temporary detention center, put them on the bus to the border (I assume we’re talking the southern border and not the one with Canada), or somewhere that they can’t break out of, like a barbed-wire camp surrounded by armed sentry towers in the middle of the desert (I’m pretty sure Manzanar is still available).

The other minor issue may be that you have one or both parents who might have questionable credentials, have been in the United States for a decade or more (an easy answer, I’m sure), and have American-born children. Simple, right? Send the parent or parents back; if the children want to follow, that’s fine with you. I mean, can they even prove they are American citizens?

§23. Jurisdiction of United States courts and judges

“After any such proclamation has been made, the several courts of the United States, having criminal jurisdiction, and the several justices and judges of the courts of the United States, are authorized and it shall be their duty, upon complaint against any alien enemy resident and at large within such jurisdiction or district, to the danger of the public peace or safety, and contrary to the tenor or intent of such proclamation, or other regulations which the President may have established, to cause such alien to be duly apprehended and conveyed before such court, judge, or justice; and after a full examination and hearing on such complaint, and sufficient cause appearing, to order such alien to be removed out of the territory of the United States, or to give sureties for his good behavior, or to be otherwise restrained, conformably to the proclamation or regulations established as aforesaid, and to imprison, or otherwise secure such alien, until the order which may be so made shall be performed.”

A Timeline of Legal Battles Over Trump’s Use of the Alien Enemies Act

“The judges of the Fifth Circuit, considered one of the country’s most conservative appeals courts, said that their injunction applied only to the use of the Alien Enemies Act. They said it would not prevent the government from using other lawful means to remove foreign terrorists from the United States.”

So, as we ponder these questions, knowing that the great mind of the Madman and his brain trust have all of this figured out already, we shouldn’t need to worry. American history has taught us that absolutely nothing could go wrong.
