I am a catalyst, writer, and producer with extensive experience using traditional and new media as tools for community and economic development. My professional background includes being a radio host and producer in Washington, D.C., as well as a television reporter and producer in Washington, D.C., Hartford, Connecticut, and Los Angeles, California. Additionally, I have experience in telecommunications policy development in Washington, D.C., where I served as Executive Director of a commission charged with bringing cable television to the nation’s capital.
My dream career was in Hollywood as an Executive Producer of Live Events (E!’s Red Carpet Arrivals Shows and Fashion Police with Joan and Melissa Rivers), which became a major brand and pop culture icon.
I returned to college in 2016 to finally check off the number one item on my bucket list: a college degree. In 2021, I earned an Associate of Arts degree from Long Beach City College. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in May 2024 from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Arts in English, with a focus on Creative Writing.
